Housing Resources

Pajaro Valley is grappling with a significant housing shortage, particularly affecting farmworkers and essential workers. A 2018 assessment estimated a need for over 45,000 additional housing units for farmworkers in the Salinas and Pajaro Valleys; however, only about 4,500 beds and 300 permanent homes have been added since then, leaving many families in overcrowded and unstable living conditions.
