The South County Triage Group (SCTG) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Pajaro Valley by coordinating a collaborative network of over thirty local entities—including nonprofits, public institutions, and community leaders—to address health disparities and emergency challenges in the region. Initially formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SCTG has evolved to tackle broader issues such as housing, financial assistance, violence reduction, and community well-being, ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate support for the predominantly Latino and farmworker communities in South County.
